Hello,

My name is Jeff Fazio and I am the owner & driver of Jekyl Hyde Racing.
Jekyl is a 1991 non-turbo MR2.
Hyde is a 1991 turbo MR2.

Hyde's the race car.
We made 440 rwhp on the original 200,000 mile stock engine.
This thursday we are dynoing our new built engine and we are expecting 550-600 rwhp.

We race the car in hillclimb, drag races, autocrosses and road courses (Time Attack). Later this year we are hoping to enter a 1-mile Land Speed race with a goal of hitting around 180 mph.

Our Web site is here: http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/
A complete modification list here: http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/HydeMods.htm
A race history here: http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/slips.htm

Some photos for you:

This is Hyde's first photoshoot of after all of the new changes.
Details on the changes can be seen here:

Hi Jeff, what a surprise ! We meet before in Mr2OC, I hope the Italian driver know who you are !

Here we got a different approch to the race car, it's very hard find an Mr2 like Tij (Templare), probably for the rules of the races or for the cost of pices (shipping included!!)

Aniways, some of us got pices from America, some other from Japan, here you can see my babys:

White Noise (SubaruImpreza)
Mizar (Mr2)
RedSun (CRX) (only for race, 1/4 miles, work in progress)

I just got another 680T battery as well. I also installed a Firecharger system.

Jeff, I'll wait for great news from dyno and Time Attack as soon. I like where you installed firecharger knob. Mine is on driver seat left side, but I'll change its position soon.

I think in next days I'll write something about me, TiJey and MR2 Club Italia on mr2oc.com forum. I know a forum's moderator...

Bye!

federico, thanks for the compliments. I do know Dario. We have spoken many, many times. It's awesome that he gets out there and races his MR2 like he does ;)

fild7, thanks for the warm welcome.

welcome in MR2 Club Italia and congratulation for your car...

Hi Jeff, welcome in our community! I hope you solved trouble with Hyde. I presume from your message you didn't run last Time Attack, but now it's just time to dyno Hyde and get all horsepowers you and Brian can.

At the end I purchase PC680T light battery. It's awesome! At today I was able to lighten TiJey for about 110 lbs, also considering I add Autopower rollbar, Rotora brake kits, water injection with one gallon tank and fire suppression system. Now I'm waiting for Trust external oil cooler kit from Takakaira. It's hold at italian customs but hope to receive it in time to run next road race on May 21th.

Well, is great to read you here, keep us informed about Hyde dyno results.
